About Paradise Valley Sound

Studios are often places where friends get together to create something that they are passionate about, or just to have some fun. Paradise Valley Sound was founded by three long time friends and music and video business associates that felt the need for just one more really great room that was built right and had all the latest new technology plus some special vintage pieces. But let’s be sure to build it somewhere that’s fun to live!

How about Montana! It will be a fun place to visit, but the studio won’t be so busy that we never have a chance to use it ourselves.

Howard Steele

Howard is the kind of guy that every studio needs. He is a quite successful engineer, producer and one of those people who understands electronics. He has started a console company, live recording company, video production, and has a bunch of gold and platinum records, etc. He thinks about things that give normal people headaches. Many years in Los Angeles and Nashville.

Kirk Covington

Kirk has traveled the world singing and playing the drums with Tribal Tech from Los Angeles. Then he added piano to the list. Says he thinks of the keyboard as a large drum set. He is all over youtube as Kirk Covington or his alias “Capt. Kirk”.

Scott Martin

Scott likes to build things and play music with mostly pedal steel and guitar, but also likes accordions, saxophones, mandolins, flugelhorns and low whistles. And metal buildings! Like airplane hangars and storage  buildings. That’s why the studio looks like a barn with a big porch.
